Rated for fire. Clear as day.

Two hours of fire. Still closed.
Scroll to run the clock. Rated doorsets are tested against the standard fire curve: 945°C at one hour, 1,049°C at two.
Glass only. Two ratings.

Every part is rated.
Tap a point on the door.
Clear glazing rated with the doorset, for 1 or 2 hours. It stays in the frame while the fire is on the other side.
A steel frame with powder coat or a stainless steel capping finish, like this one.
Seals that swell with heat and close the gaps where the leaves meet the frame.
Handles, hinges and locks that belong to the certified system, not off the shelf.
The fixed glass above is part of the same rated doorset, so the whole opening holds.

Same exit. Now clear.
A solid steel exit door, replaced with fire-rated glass. Drag to compare.

Four steps. No shortcuts.
Match the rating
The Fire Code sets the rating for each opening. We confirm 1 hour or 2 before anything is made.

Fit to the system
Frame alignment, clearances, fixings and perimeter seals, exactly as the certified system specifies.
It must close itself
The self-closer has to shut the door fully, from any angle, over the latch. Every time.
Label and hand over
We check the PLS serial label and hand over the Certificate of Conformity with the install records.
Straight answers.
Do you make timber fire doors?
No. JT does glass only: fire-rated glass doors and framed glass screens.
Which ratings do you supply?
1-hour and 2-hour doorsets and screens, matched to what the Fire Code requires at each opening.
How do I know a door is certified?
A certified doorset carries a PLS serial label. We hand over its Certificate of Conformity with the installation records.
Can a solid fire door be replaced with glass?
Often, yes. That is the before and after above. We confirm the rating that opening needs first.
Who is behind JT?
JT works alongside its sister company Dengya Glass, in glass supply and installation since 2006.
Need a door that passes inspection?
Send a photo of the opening. We'll tell you the rating it needs and what it takes.
